Want stock and crypto research inside the AI assistant you already use, with numbers that come from market data instead of the chatbot's memory? Here is how it works with AstraEye Labs, step by step: connect, ask, approve the price, read the report and check its numbers.
On its own, an AI assistant answers a market question from what it remembers or what a web search turns up. That is how a price from last month, a figure for the wrong quarter or a number nobody computed ends up in a confident answer. Research you can check needs each figure computed from market data, with its window, its date and its method attached.
The seven checks that separate a figure you can trust from one you cannot are in the guide Seven checks before you trust an AI's stock or crypto numbers.
Add AstraEye Labs to your assistant once. The connection is made from the assistant: you sign in to AstraEye when it asks and choose what it may do. It works with a personal AstraEye Labs account on a plan that includes the Research API.
The Research API is available on the Space Analyst plan and above. The steps for each assistant are on the Research API page.
Name the stocks, ETFs or coins and what you want to know, for example how two stocks are trading going into earnings, or whether a group of coins moves with Bitcoin. Your assistant passes the request to SAGE, AstraEye's research guide, which builds the project from the analysis catalog.
Research is priced in Astra Credits. Ask for the price first, as in the request above, and SAGE quotes it and waits for your yes before anything runs. A daily credit limit you set on the connection caps what your assistant can spend.
When a run finishes, your assistant can read the report back to you: the summary, each specialist's findings, the bottom line, the prepared questions and answers and, where the report has them, its methods. Charts and tables stay in AstraEye; open the report there to see them.
What a report is made of, section by section and with a real one, is in the guide How to research U.S. stocks and crypto with AI: one real report, step by step.
Ask for the window, the date and the method behind any figure, and compare it with the data source the report credits. It is a good habit for any AI answer: a figure that comes with none of these has not been shown to be right, however precise it looks.
You choose what the assistant may do when you connect, and you can disconnect it at any time in AstraEye's settings. What it reads is your own research, for your own use.
Before you connect anything, open a published AstraEye report, no account needed, and see what your assistant would read back: the findings, the methods and the data sources.
On its own, ChatGPT answers from what it remembers and what it finds on the web. Connected to a research source such as AstraEye Labs, it can ask for research that computes each figure from licensed market data and read the report back, with its methods and data sources.
Yes. AstraEye Labs is a plugin in ChatGPT for research on U.S. stocks, ETFs and crypto: in ChatGPT, open Plugins, search for AstraEye Labs and install it, then sign in to AstraEye when it asks.
Connected to AstraEye Labs, Claude can ask for research that computes each figure from licensed market data and read the report back, with its methods and data sources, for crypto and U.S. stocks in the same report.
ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Glama. Each connection is made from the assistant, and you choose what it may do.
The written prose of your own reports: the summary, the findings, the conclusion, the prepared questions and answers and, where a report has them, its methods. It never receives charts, tables or data fields. With the SAGE chat permission and a daily credit limit you set, it can also ask SAGE to run research for you, within that limit.
Yes. AstraEye Labs connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Glama as an app, so the assistant can read your finished reports and their methods, and ask SAGE to price and start new research.
There is a free plan, and paid plans start at $19 a month (Space Analyst). New accounts get a 7-day trial with no card. Every research run shows its price in credits before it starts.
ChatGPT, Claude and the other assistants named here are third-party products with their own terms. AstraEye Labs is not affiliated with their makers. Informational research only. AstraEye Labs does not provide financial advice or recommendations. You decide what, if anything, to do.
